Media Jukebox supports many media
formats including MP3, Real Media, Liquid Audio, WMA and OGG.
It can rips CDs at up to 320kbps using constant or variable
bit rate. In addition, you can search your database with the
excellent library search function, and lets you organize your
mp3s under various categories. Other cool features include skin
support, CDDB2 support, ID3v2 tag editor, internet radio, and
more. The
plus version allows unlimited encoding, faster cd burning, recording
sessions scheduling, mixing and editing audio files, and a cool
DSP facility.

FreeRIP MP3 is an ad supported CD ripper that can bypass
your sound card and record your CD tracks to WAV or MP3 format
directly. In addition, you can also encodes your 16 bit WAVs
to Ogg Vorbis. FreeRIP MP3 supports automatic CDDB download
off the internet. It even gives you option to install Ogg Vorbis
plugin to your Winamp player so that you can play .ogg files.
On the downside, this software doesn't seem to be very stable.

CDex is a CD ripper, an MP3 decoder (MPG123 based) and a LAME
encoder. Features include support for WMA decoding and encoding,
CDDB batch option and the ability to choose other encoder if
you don't want to use the LAME encoder. It can extracts the
CD tracks directly from your CD bypassing your sound card and
converts them to MP3 or WAV files format. This one step ripping
and encoding produces better quality sound files. Of course,
you can still use your sound card while recording if you want
to listen to the tracks.

RealJukebox supports many popular format including MP3, RealAudio®
G2, WAV, M3U, WMA and PLS files. Features include automatically
track mixes, skin support, keyword search, radio turner, live
track info via the web, record from Mic/Line In, up to 320 KBPS
MP3 encoding. On the downsides, plug-in must be downloaded
separately for high-quality MP3 encoding (The basic version
of RealJukebox limits encoding to 96 kbps and doesn't allows
VBR encoding) and it doesn't integrate fully with RealPlayer.
